Ward care and daily updates
# Dedicated ward veterinarians
Seriously ill patients need closer monitoring. In the Ulsan inpatient ward, a dedicated ward veterinarian is on site to monitor patients closely, and a system is in place to handle emergencies even when your pet's attending veterinarian is away, for example in surgery.
# Daily update messages
Once a day, we send you an update on your pet's condition, with photos, via KakaoTalk. (daily, 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM)
-
Admission & consent
Once inpatient care is decided after diagnosis, you complete a consent form and a questionnaire covering existing conditions, current medications and food allergies. We then explain what to expect during the stay and how visiting works. -
Stay & care
At our Ulsan hospital, dedicated ward veterinarians and technicians care for patients 24 hours a day. You can meet your pet's attending veterinarian in person (by appointment), and once a day you'll receive an update with photos through our KakaoTalk channel. -
Discharge consultation
Discharge follows a consultation with your pet's veterinarian, including guidance on managing the condition at home to support recovery.
Comfort for patients
# The "Hug Me" campaign
About 50 technicians and veterinarians, organized by department, care for our patients. As part of this campaign, the team uses calm voices and gentle handling, and comforts patients with a hug during their treatment.
